Senior Design Project Fall 2017

• Collaborated with interdisciplinary team of engineers to design a shielding curtain capable of suppressing radiation leakage from piping structures

• Developed strategic project roadmap detailing the key components in the project action plan, delineating tasks to be completed by each group member

• Leveraged NX9 software to construct a 3-D model of a piping structure and supplemental shielding curtain, presenting the finalized model to the project advisor

Mechanical Engineering Intern Summer 2017

• Prepared client material for senior leadership, utilizing AutoCAD MEP to model floor plan within the received architectural drawings

• Calculated heat rejection loads for commercial kitchens referencing usage and radiation factors to account for heat gain

• Optimized new project energy utilization using TRACE 700 to select heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

• Surveyed project sites ensuring that air handling units, diffusers, and grilles were within compliance standards
